This comprehensive educational 12 lead application is designed for the healthcare provider or general public to help understand the fundamental components of clinical findings associated with a 12 lead EKG.
During every step of the evaluation process, criteria which is noted on the EKG is placed into the system with abnormal values and waves explained in detail as well as areas of the heart which may be affected. Items which are evaluated and defined include the P to R Interval, QRS Duration, ST Segment in the lateral, septal, anterior and inferior walls, overall axis, complete and fascicular bundle branch blocks, and left ventricular hypertrophy. When an abnormal finding is detected, an explanation is given along with clinical conditions that may be associated with the EKG change.
This app is designed to be used as an educational teaching tool or as an excellent reference for those persons who have been trained in 12 Lead EKG interpretation, but need a reference on the values and anatomical landmarks being traced.
