- Calendar view: use the calendar to create, edit, organize, navigate through, and preview your historic records. A mark on a specific date indicates the type of records saved for that date. It also tells which day you are in your cycle.
- Cycles view: lists historic data on menstrual periods and two upcoming periods estimated based on your input
- BBT Chart view: shows your BBT chart with cervical fluid and ovulation day over a menstrual cycle
- Forecast view: illustrates your fertility cycles in the future. Forecast is based on average cycle length and luteal phase length. Both of the factors can be overridden with your own preference in the settings.
- Charts view: plots weight and temperature data over a month
- Lists view: provides another user-friendly way to review the data by category
- Preferences view: allows you to manually override the parameters used in the forecast function, ignore longer cycles, customize your own data tracking, and set other preferences

Fantastic Replacement for Paper! I've been charting for several months and none of the paper forms I used worked as well this app! The app is password protected, stores all relevant information BBT, weight, & all other attributes you would expect. You can export a range of dates to a .csv and email or import. I love the graphs! I travel a lot...was always self-conscious about carrying the paper around, afraid it might fall out or I would lose it, and it's great to have all this information at my fingertips when at the doctor's office. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

You get what you pay for I've been really pleased with this app. For years I've used the NFP palm app and I've been looking for months for something that would be an equivelent for my iPod. I don't think the $10 price tag is too high given the amount of crucial info it stores and the ease of use. I also chose this app since it was obvious from previous reviewers that the developers were actually paying attention to the consumers and making improvements and changes as necessary. Thanks for making a great product. Now I can finally get rid of my palm!

Best menstrual calendar ever Though I don't need to chart anymore, I still think this app very useful. It's the best period calendar on app store. It has more features and flexibilities than other apps. It tracks almost all info you need to know about your body, and if you think it's not good enough, you can even design your own. The forecast can be customzied too. The presentation is friendly and intuitive. If you are price sensitive, try ff's free menstrual calendar. If you are ok with this price tag, definitely choose this one.

Nice and simple I have used Woman (Used to be called that back in the day, now its Woman Calendar) for two years on Palm. I took 15 minutes and entered all that data on this version because that Palm version was dead on with predictions for two years, and I wanted to be sure I was getting the same predictive quality. It predicts the same start date for this month as my reliable Palm version. I think some reviewers dont understand that the program actually DOES use the first day to predict the next period, along with YOUR average cycle length. You have an OPTION in the settings tab, to make it default to whatever cycle length you want, and whatever luteal phase length you want (which is great if you are just beginning to use this software and have no history established), but generally it uses YOUR personal average cycle length based on your history, to predict the next one. So after the first couple months, if you had set a default, you can look at the top of the settings page and it will tell you what your average cycle length is, at that point. You can either use that, or pick a different one. So you can enter data back as far as the 50's, maybe further, if you have that and want to take a month to enter it all in! and it predicts as far ahead as...well I got tired of tabbing at november 2011. So plenty of calendar space. It predicts menstrual period start date and days of flow, based on your history, and fertile days, and ovulation day, as well as "safe" days. You can make notes on each date including whether you have had "relations" (the "i" word got blocked) and whether it was "safe" or "unsafe". You can record your temperature if you are trying to do the FAM thing, and your weight, whether you are doing FAM or not. Also consistency of cervical fluid. In the notes section, you can add whatever you like. Also you can mark a day special with a little star. What I miss is the ability to show what kind of period day it was either with color shading or size of a special "flow" icon for light, heavy, normal, spotty (intermenstrual), and also the ability to indicate whether you had cramps with an icon. You can put that information in the notes section, but you have to open the note to see it, as there is no icon or color shading to mark that or the type of flow. Overall its a great program, even for those like me, who are finished with the pregnancy thing, and just need to keep track of when the cycles are expected. The other versions of WC for other phones are the 14.95 or 24.95 depending on whether you get the desktop version to accompany it for PC, so you may fuss about the price, but that's just what the thing costs, iPhone or not, you have to pay for this kind of thing when it works well. Beiks (Beiks.com) makes Woman Calendar for the other phones. Woman Calendar for iPhone is the same thing, different group of programmers, and no desktop accompaniment.Update!: The update did all the things I miss! Now I can mark cramps, and pms can be indicated before menses begins, or during, and it basically does everything I need now! BUT. The yellow icons to indicate the cramps and the pms are yellow, and dont stand out well. I can hardly see them against the gray. They only show up relatively well when you have that particular day highlighted. Also, I cant tell from looking at the calendar whether it was a heavy flow day, or light, even though you can select what it was and see it when you look at the note for that day. I want to be able to see that on the calendar view. The other thing...Petals just came out! Now it lacks major functionality and I wouldnt think of switching, but I am totally jealous of that beautiful color set! And the pretty rose petals! How's about some changeable THEMES for woman calendar? I know you cant exactly copy Petals, but you can give us some variety!! How about giving us an icon set so we can select what icon we want to use for cramps (a lightening bolt, a grimace face, a "c", cat claws) or pms or whatever? What about some color themes we can change between besides gray? I want "pretty" too!! Still an awesome program and I will probably never change, but gimme those themes and maybe some icon choices, and let me see a flow icon on the calendar view, and you will get that 5th star!!! - Woman Calendar review by dhayman
This app is better than chocolate. -- 10/2008 Update A few months ago I suggested some specific features, and poof! they were all added about a month later. 1.3 added some other things I saw other reviews mentioned - the developer has been great about updates. I love this app now. I don't think the price is high for the features and convenience it provides. A cup of flavored coffee in some markets costs $8, and it's gone in a few hours. :-) There are a couple more features I could ask for, like listing the next couple predicted beginning flow days on the Cycles list so they're easy to see without thumbing through the calendar pages, but I feel guilty asking for anything else - I think I paid $20 for FemDays for the Palm ten years ago, this is a steal!Right now it:-Has different color icons on flow days for light, medium, etc-Records daily BBT and has separate graph-Records daily weight-Track i-course with icon on main calendar-Ovulation marker with icon-Cramps and PMS marker with icon-Tender 'girls' and exercise marker (no icon)-Daily journal entry with icon-Track cervical fluid in more ways then you could want :-), graphs it with BBTForecast tab shows safe/fertile/ovulation days (estimated), and upcoming flow days.-- 08/2008 OriginalI'd been keeping an old Handspring with FemDays on it to use to keep track of cycles, so glad an iPhone app is finally out that keeps historical info and automatically predicts upcoming months. I entered a few historical months in and it's generally good. I have a few suggestions:1. Any calendar date that has some sort of info entered gets a "i" icon, even if it's just a flow day, i-course day etc,. This makes it hard to find days that have actual note data. If the day already as the icon for an event, why list the "i" for it? Suggest just displaying the "i" for a data if there is data in the note field. Will also make the calendar less cluttered.2. Instead of having to manually enter which day of flow it is, change option to light, normal, heavy, or similiar, or just change it to a check box. Entering 1,2, 3, etc for the day doesn't seem to be providing any useful data elsewhere in the app and just takes additional time.3. Needs an icon for PMS/cramps4. Bug: Clicking a day to add a new record and then clicking Cancel before saving the record puts the "i" (record) marker on that day anyway, even thought no data is recorded. - Woman Calendar review by Halfdragon
Perfect app for FAM users Most of the ovulation apps are simply period trackers or use history to predict the future; highly inaccurate. I have used fertility awareness (FAM) for years, and I wanted an app that used FAM principles. This one is perfect. It charts everything I need it do (temp, fluid, position). It is simple and easy to use, very clear and very intuitive. I hesitated because of the price tag, but I am glad I bought anyways because it is completely worth every penny for a FAM user. Wonderful! I have been reading and waiting. I picked this app. It overall has everything I wanted. I love the cycle info average since I'm never regular. I love the password protection. I love all the options for personalizing each day. I agree that the chart feature should have other info besides temp but as it is right now, I love it. This is exactly what I've wanted I bought a rather pricey ovulation tracker and was somewhat pleased. But the develpoer never put it in an easy to read format. I was looing for a program that was comparable to my palm program called "Woman". This is it! An easy to read calendar format with predctions, a tracker for my ovulation days and a lock to keep non-iPhone having friends who like to rummage through my apps from seeing my private data. So Far So Good *** excuse my screen name I didn't know it would stick with me** I've been waiting for a app like this. I had iwoman which worked fine for me however, this app is much better. So far I'm happy with it. I've been inputting info and messing around with it for about a hour. I like the icons on the calendar, the forecast and the fact that you can add notes because sometimes there are things you want to remember. The fact that its all password protected is plus! (I don't want everyone in my buisness!) Sometimes people want to explore your device to see if they want one and I would rather not have them explore my very personal info. Wonderful application!!! The only reason I didn't give this application 5 stars was because of the price. It meets my every need and since the update it works wonderfully. I like that I can now add breast tenderness and if I have exercised that day or not. It has really helped me to get to know my body better. My husband also likes it for this reason. I am currently using it to help prevent pregnancy, but I know that it will also prove extremely useful when we decide we would like to add an addition to our family. Worth every penny! This was one of the first applications that I ever paid for, and although I thought the price was high, it is totally worth it! I use it to track not only my cycles, but my PMS symptoms and migraines as well, so that I can give my doctor accurate information. It has a simple, easy to understand interface, but has features none of the other apps available have (like a generic name and icon, I don't want everyone playing with my iPod to think I'm trying to get pregnant with an app named Fertility Tracker or something), and can even track and graph your weight loss! It also can handle irregular cycles (some of the other apps I tried think that every day you don't bleed, then bleed again the next day is a new cycle!), because it lets you designate a day as your "first day", rather than just automatically marking first blood. - Woman Calendar review by acetone
Awesome!!!! Worth every penny. The best software I've come accross for planned pregnancy, used a less 'techy' one (desktop version) for 3 years now and wanted to use something on my iphone to continue 'un-pregnant'. Hey $10 dollars is nothing when it works! Now you do need to understand how these methods work and enter your period and temp data accurately... The software follows your instructions you just need to give it the right ones!

Worth the money I thought I saved money when I bought a cheaper period calendar which claims to offer similar features as $9.99 apps do. It turned out that I was wrong. Within one week I realized the cheaper app had very limited functionalities and couldn't forecast or chart. So in the end, I bought Woman Calendar despite its higher price tag. Now I'm very happy with it, and it's well worth the money. It has a much better interface design and flows very well. Now I wish I hadn't wasted the money on the other one. Good App I like this app. It is well worth the money, as I use it nearly every day. I like the ability to note all the different things in your cycle, including cervical fluid and weight. Perfect... This is a great app, not all flowery and gooey about what are "simply the facts, ma'am!" Although whether TTC or not, I can see this program being useful for cycle and weight tracking for a long time to come. I love the forecast element and the notes element, as for the reviews that want everything to be one click... it's not, but really, if that's what you're looking for there are much simpler less complete programs for cycle tracking that'll give you that. My wishes for this program: Add an option for weight graphing like there is for basal temperature. Also instead of exercise: yes/no button, an exercise/time spent, minutes or hours (or both) fill in, that would also chart time like the temperature graph. Also, a graph that compiles the other potential tracking info, cervical fluid, etc. But, as I said, wishes! This a great program, very intuitive and each update seems to bring it closer to being "perfectly perfect in every way!" Great App! I use to have iwoman with my old iphone and I’ve been looking for something like this ever since I got the 3G.I love this app because it gives me the actual length of my cycles and not just the average length. I like the fact that you can put notes and see the prediction of your next cycle.I would love it if somehow the day number of your cycle would appear somewhere on the calendar (maybe at the bottom right corner of the day)I like as well the option of making the I of info appears or not, but I think it would even be better if you could choose to make it appear only on the days where you add notes.Finally, it would be nice, that when you click on a day, the notes you added for that day would appear at the bottom of the calendar and that you wouldn’t have to go to the other page to read it.Thanks for this app - Woman Calendar review by Mermeth
Great app I was so excited to find this app as I'm starting to use FAM. My two suggestions are to have no restrictions for average cycle length given the variability among women and to verify that the luteal phase is not programed as the follicular phase on the predictive calendar.

Good if you need ALL the features listed This is a good application. But it's focus is a little off from what I am looking for so I find it a little cumbersom. It is focused more on the fertility parts of your cycle, than the flow part. The flow forcasting, though, seems to be excellent. I can't speak to the fertility forcasting.For myself I was looking for a menstrual cycle tracker, like iWoman, which isn't available (yet?). The fact that I have to input a number for each day of my flow, instead of toggling a 'menstruating' slider and having the application count the days is very irritating. I am also missing the 'pms' or 'cramps' or 'light' or 'heavy' type notes that I wish to keep.Tha Calendar feature is pretty good looking though a little busy for my needs. I am fixed, but it IS a little interesting to see the ovulation forcasting anyway.All in all I'm middle of the road, this is the best I've seen in the app store for what I'm looking for. Good start, still needs enhancements and bug fixes I've been looking for an app like this to use with FAM since the app store launched and Woman Calendar is the best one available so far. Several of the features I'd like to see still aren't available, although it looks like they will be in future versions. The application is also fairly buggy and overly complex. I would really LOVE to be able to turn off the password protect feature - I understand some people want passwords, but I'm not one of them.
