My most used App!!!! I love this recorder. As a songwriter and a producer, it takes no time to jot down a quick Idea and move on to something else. It's very easy and convenient to use. I am in front of multi-thousand dollar recording units all of time. Many times it takes too long to engage, record and get an idea down. I'm not sure what some people complain about with this app. It's meant to record quick messages and send them as a quick email. If you want more features with bells and whistles, go and spend 50 +dollars on a device that is not that easy to use when you are trying to move quickly. For my friends who love to complain, learn how to use it properly and stop complaining about something that you are almost getting for free.

Suitable as primary recorder I am a physician and must dictate many patient referral letters and send them for daily transcription. These recording are usually 3-6 minutes in length. I use QuickVoice Free (then) Pro (now) as a backup to my Olympus digital pocket recorder. I also purchased the Mac QuickVoice software. The Good: you have it if you have your iphone, records spontaneous laughter from my 2 year old, less expensive than dedicated hardware, new speech to text. The developers were responsive to my technical problems about getting recordings to import from the iPhone. However, there appeared to be a problem with their email system and hotmail that prevented me from getting timely help. After I did not respond, I received a personal call. Very good customer support.The Bad: (both iPhone and Mac software): No batch delete on iPhone, No management of recordings into folders on iPhone, CAF recording are hugh, nearly 8 MB for a 4 minute recording - try emailing that with EDGE one at a time (no batch email probably an iPhone OS issue), No auto name or number so must use cumbersome (slow) naming of individual recording, Slow sometimes flaky export from iPhone - must wait for iPhone sync and backup completion, Slow to convert to AAC on Core2Duo iMac without MP3 option (my transcriptionist can not handle AAC files), No batch transfer to iTunes or other conversion program, No recording management feature on Mac side if recording come from the iPhone - everything appears in one folder, weird long file names that need to be renamed (see below)Features that I have yet to find in any recorder, software or hardware, is the ability to rewind and listen to an earlier segment AND redictate a correction before finalizing the recording. This feature is available from EVERY hospital dictation systems I have ever encountered.Olympus work flow: plug into usb, copy .wav recordings over to storage folder on mac, email 5-6 recordings per email message to my transcriptionistQuickVoice work flow: Sync iphone (wait till back up complete), open Quickvoice mac software and import recordings, batch rename recordings from 01120090507114802_5-6~1 in the home/documents/Quickvoice/Quickvoice Recordings to 5-6~1 (first patient seen on 5-6-09) with Quickname (free), batch convert all recordings in the folder with Switch (free & slow) to mp3 (or wav), move recordings to storage folder, email 5-6 recordings per email message to my transcriptionist.Overall, it works similarly to my hardware olympus recorder, but requires more steps to get the job done. Some cumbersome aspects can likely be automated, but I haven't the time to figure out Automator/Applescript yet. These short comings will hopefully be ironed out in future releases. I give it 3.5 stars.

Excellent but Can't seem to get the bonus app Fanastic application for the price and quality of sound. Seriously handy for questioning authority with quality and ease of use. One button recording will place those questing me, in servant position while flexing my rights.
All good, I have emailed mail provided by nfinity Inc. To get bonus app for my mac but seems like no luck getting. Not chill on that.

One of the best apps! This recorder is SUPERIOR with its new features! As a sound engineer and musician, I can appreciate all the features that Quickvoice offers in a great looking interface, and also the quality of voice recordings. Recordings are very clear, great file sizes, and the program is sleek and easy to use. Don't be fooled though, it does a whole lot without the need for complicated menus and buttons. It's so easy to record a song idea or one of my class lectures, and playback afterwards with syncing is a breeze. And now with Voice to Text Email, I can basically be driving and speaking an email or message without ever looking away from the road! My words become text with extreme accuracy. This feature is incredible and really puts Quickvoice above other recorders and really makes it a multi-use application! 99 cents? No brainer. Great job guys! I hope voice to text messages are coming soon!

Amazing voice-to-text! QuickVoice's voice-to-text feature is amazingly accurate. The nice thing is that the voice recording is also included with the text email so one can listen to the message as well. It's a killer app for the iPhone because it's so easy to record and send a voice message and equally as easy when receiving one... the iPhone's built-in QuickTime plays the message - no muss or fuss. Great job nFinity!

Excellent! Voice to text works as well as Jott and better than others (I use various technical languague, which no one yet gets correct -- but this is in the top tier so far). The recording features are quick, responsive, and minimize the number of buttons needed to record (open app, press record). sending to voice to text could be streamlined, and they told me they are working on a note to self, so that will help (and is why it's 4 rather than 5 stars.

Buggy I have used quickvoice on my mac for years and has always been a buggy program and the iphone version is the same. it is not fully tested and the people that make this app do not care, they will be happy to take your money though.

Nice Clean App This is a great quick record a note app. When you need to record a quick note to yourself you can just go in record it and leave. Easy to find your note as soon as you open the app. You don't have to fumble threw different screens looking for notes as there all there in front of you.Please, Please, Please, put an icon badge number on the app so we can see we have a new or untitled note to ourself.

Records Fine Good recording software. However I had the free version and had a few recordings that I wanted to keep. The new software should import those recordings or at least let you know that they will be deleted once you remove that application from your iPhone. Low score for not snyching with iTunes automatically. This was a seamless operation with my iPod and a Belkin recorder. iTunes is the best place to manage and organise all these files. Thank you.

They use their own mail server! Which means they have access to all email content, addresses etc. Why would they not let you use your own email account(s)?? I will change this rating when this is changed, so I can email voice recordings knowing these people can't do anything they want with my data!!!!!

Works Great BUT! The sound quality is amazing, but it wish that it sent in MP3 rather than CAF because most people dont have quicktime installed. SO I can not send voicenotes to anyone at work or play because of this issue. Other than that, it is good. Although, I find it strange there are no settings in the app at all.. But I still gave it five stars cause I was looking for quality sound recording.
