iContraction is a useful tool for couples who are expecting a baby. During the last few weeks of the pregnancy you need to keep track of your contractions and this app helps you do just that.
I was inspired to write this application when my wife was expecting and after downloading a few apps it was frustrating to find out that they either have too many features that are not useful or are missing features that we wanted. So I went ahead and wrote this application.
NOTE ON INTERVAL: The interval on each row is the amount of time difference between this contraction and the one before it. As a result the first contraction (the last row on the table) has interval zero. This is not a bug.
Feature include: -Ability to delete individual contractions -Large button to start/stop tracking -If you start tracking and get a phone call, the app remembers that and when you restart the app, it continues counting -The reset button, asks for confirmation so you don't accidentally reset all your data -Graph of last 5 and last 10 contractions for a quick view -Average of your last 10 contractions -Countdown that tells you how many days are left to 40 weeks -Email your contractions data to someone

Not accurate   The countdown option is off by two days! Can't delete individual contractions ... I don't like this app

Love it!   It's great! It has what I wanted and nothing more or less. My doctor was able to see everytime I had a contraction, VERY helpful the day I went into labor I was able to call my doctor and say my cantractions are 30 minutes apart and last on average this long. It's perfect! Especally for realizing your in labor if you water doesn't break right away!

Easy, functional and very handy   At 32 weeks I started having regular contraction patterns. This app helped me track them easily no matter where I was. And even better, email the logs which I could print and take to my appointments or email directly to my doctor. My only suggestion is that I frequently bumped the timer and it would be great to be able to delete one contraction and not the whole log. But this app was awesome and very useful. Even the nurses at the hospital were impressed when D day finally arrived and I had all my logs readily available in a handy format.

We had a boy!   Works great. We tried several other timers. This was the best.

Worked Great   We just used this for the entire home part of labor for our son's birth, and it was wonderfully useful. Let us concentrate unreservedly on getting through each contraction, and still have a detailed record of everything that we needed to know.
One minor thing: it includes a first interval of 0 seconds, which threw off the first few averages. It'd be good to see that fixed.
Overall, though, very nice. - iContraction review by Danmil
Works just as described   This app works just as described. It has a due date countdown, tracks date, time and interval and provides the ability to email the results to someone. Oh yeah... And you can even see a graph of previous contractions. I've been playing with this app for a while now and it has been stable (no freezing or crashing). Suggestion: The contraction button is big, but it would be nicer if it were double wide. My $.02. - iContraction review by AnxiousFather
Exactly what I wanted   It did exactly what I needed. Push one button when the contractions start, push it again when they stop. It logs the start time/date of the contraction and the duration.
App has several other neat things (graphs, emailability) that I didn't need. I'm just thrilled to not have to use the phone's clock feature and do the math myself.
Thanks for helping a daddy through a wonderful home birth. - iContraction review by FritzMahoney
Works great!   Thanks for the great FREE app! It worked perfect! Love the email option! Aloha from Marcus, Becky, and little Nadia! - iContraction review by Go socialism go!
Will come in handy!   This app is easy to use with big buttons, something a laboring woman or nervous husband can use easily. Does what it says. Will be easy to keep track of contractions using this! - iContraction review by Sxf
