Free, but Crap I appreciate the developers making this free. But compared to my "WhiteNoise" program, which I got back when it was free, this one is way behind, but that's just my opinion. To picky ears like mine, the sound samples are way too busy, and the focus of this app seems to be to throw in a lot of other distracting sounds that make it obvious that it loops.But for some people, the lack of audio smoothness of the samples won't be as important as the ability to mix the sounds together and make your own soundscapes, and different people have different perceptions of noise. I was able to make a mix called "Big Stupid" with a lot of thunder, rain, crickets, and a cow mooing. It was entertaining for a while, but not useful enough to keep on my phone. So if you want the fun factor, get this. If you want a more polished noise-maker with tons of useful functions, get WhiteNoise for a dollar more.

My first review ever! Hey Developer .... too good to be free. I went to your website and found nowhere where I could make a donation. For potential buyers (when it's not free) ..... buy this if you want to transcend to a peaceful place. I've not yet written a review (not really my thing) but this inspired me to do so. AMAZING! I can't believe this software is free. I bought a pillow once that plays only 1/10 of the sounds on here and it cost me about $100-150. This is perfect! You can custom your own playlist for whatever you need to do. I made one for when I want to read with some raining and thunder and it definitely helps to block out all the outside noise that's going on. Also great for relaxing. Best app, would have paid for it Instead of making this free they need to make a free version once u try it ur hooked. I woulda paid 5$ for it, I bought another app similar that sucked, I was very disappointed, glad I got this one.

Genius This is the best sound app available. What makes all the difference is how each sound effect can be volume-controlled independently, and then layered with other customized sounds.. Very good! I like the included sounds. If apps that use more memory than your standard application forces a program to the home screen again, free up some iPhone memory by holding the home button up to twenty seconds in Mail and Safari. The application works fine!

The best relaxing tool I really like the background music apps. I work in a busy office and these tools get me through the day. I have two others, but this is my favorite. You really want to try these If you like "asleep" you'll love this. You can customize and add sound effects. I love the rain with thunder claps. The timer is great and it remembers you personal settings. The one reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is cause you can hear the pause every minute on the minute that the sound effect loops. Nice idea But the sounds are *horrible*
They sound empty, flat, and you can easily tell where they loop.
The music backgrounds are too nice, but they sound too sharp... Less contrast would be awesome.
The mixer function is also awesome, but considering the lack of decent sounds, it's useless.
