New Version has Issues I don't mind the ads that the new version brought, but I am not a fan of all the error messages that I am getting. It should get it's act together and make it a stream lined program again.

ADS?!?! AAAAARGH!!!! This app was great until they added advertising at the top of the screen that you CANT GET RID OF. I will never again blindly download an app "update" if this is what it will do. Such trickery!!
Dear developer, if you have any human decency, come to your senses & get rid of the ads. They're ridiculous & waste space at the top of the screen. FIX IT.... FIT IT!!!!

Better before upgrade This app was ten times better before the upgrade. I liked that it didn't have the stupid ads at the top and was usually very reliable. Now, the ads are always so messed up and spend so much time trying to load that it causes the app to freeze, stall and crash. So, to those complaining about those complaning about the ads: the ads ruined the app and that's what the complaint is.

Hero to Zero Was my Twitter App of choice, but today's update has unseated it. The ads are tolerable, but take forever to load and make the app perform slowly. Most egregiously, only my tweets -- and not those of my friends -- appear on the timeline. This app is now useless, and I see little point in keeping it.

Was the best, but now? Ok. I have been researching and spending hours, as part of my job, looking for the best iPod Touch/iPhone apps. I had actually recommended this app to multiple people. I normally would have given this app 5 Stars, but adding Ads is the quickest way to kill your customer base. People chose this app because it was Ad free Kazuho. And now that you have a paid for app...why add the Ads? Unless the ads go, I will not be recommending this app anymore. Sad, it was the best. Now? :-(

Ads are annoying -4 for putting ads in. Fricken annoying. First thing you see when you open the app is a massive ad.
Reinstalling 1.4.6. So glad I have this old version.
Making this a "lite" version with ads and then having a "pro" version is fricken dumb. Ok it's obvious you want money but you were doing it free for so long why switch? Greed?

Failed Was an acceptable app before the update. Limited, but free which balanced it out.
Ads, and frequent crashing, on top of the already limited features, along with the failure of the search interface, means that I will now go to Tweetie.

Don't update---keep 1.4.6 Not happy about the ads, especially since I'm not seeing any advantage to this update (ie, the “new functionality” has been here for some time anyway). I downgraded to 1.4.6. It's faster without the ads.

Ad "Support"?? If I had written this review one day ago, it would have been 4 or 5 stars. But instead, I'm forced to give it a statement-making 1 star in the hopes that Kazuho will take notice.Twitterfon is the only Twitter app I've ever used. It's clean, well-designed, and fast. But now it also has an unsightly rotating ad banner at the top of the Twitter timeline that is simply intolerable. The latest update apparently contained some new UI upgrades, too, but I'll never know how well they work, because I'm replacing Twitterfon immediately.I feel surprisingly insulted by the decision to include ads in this app - and apparently I'm not alone. The reviews from the last version to this version have a MUCH higher percentage of 1-star reviews, and I can only imagine the ads are to blame.Kazuho, I hope you take note. Your users would likely rather pay .99 for this otherwise great app than be forced to look at ads. As for me, my $2.99 will be going to Tweetie now.

Better than Twiterific I actually had this app before and i didn't like it. I don't know what they did between then and now but this app is GREAT. I love it. One thing I wanted was to retweet and to conclude other @replies. Twitterific can't do that.
This app is actually really fast as well. Shows how fast the iPhone can really perform.

The basics done right Finally a Twitter application that just lets you easily see your friend's tweets, your @ replies and your direct messages, nothing fancy like the other iPhone clients but hey that's all I need!

Almost perfect It works great... And doesn't add those useless extras that nobody needs. To get 5 stars add the times tweete are posted and the ability to post pictures. The look is basic and clean, all you really need.

Fast and simple Why did I pick twitterfon instead of twitteriffic? Speed and simplicity.
Twitterfon is fast. No slow scrolling, no loading screen. Just speed.
It is also a simple program. It has just what it needs and nothing else. Simple like twitted should be.
Twitterfon is highly recommended.
