Not the developer's fault So, I downloaded this app mainly because I saw the G1 commercial and was so mad the G1 can do this, but my fabulous iPhone cannot. And while, after reading the reviews I was expecting complete utter failure - I was surprisingly surprised :)After about 64 or so tries, I actually got it to work...once. But then again, that's not entirely the developer's fault mainly because it has to do with the precision of the picture. But, if you have patience, really good lighting, and friends that are easily impressed...this app does the trick.Keep in mind, if you're planning on going to the store and comparing prices of things with this app, you're going to be horribly dissapointed. However, if you're like me and enjoy sitting on the floor scanning all of your old movies 25 times until it works, then this is it!

Surprised me I really didn't think it would work. I installed it and found the first thing with a barcode. A gallon sized container of fast orange hand cleaner. I figured, no way it will get it. I was wrong. Perfect the first try!

Lay off the coffee! Scanned 5 things in less than 2 minutes. All worked on all 1st try. Even "scanned" a curved can UPC and it nailed it. Keep your hand steady and have good light just like any iPhone pic requires.

some things need to be said This app has great potential. But needs some serious updates. i hope you are planning to release some updates soon. Or with the 3.0 update. i was so hoping it could be like the G1, but it failed, so much to the point where I started to tear up in dissapointment as my friend with his G1 was able to get the job done. Please fix this! :D

Not Worth the Free Price Tag I used bar codes from several common items like a 24-pack of Dr Pepper purchased from Wal-Mart. Nothing worked for me. Next step, deletion.

CRAP !!! This has to be the worst application i have downloaded so far. I have tried a grand total of 50 items....from simple to complex and this thing couldn't find one of the items. half the time it couldnt even get the barcode right. Not worth the download

Finally At first i was skeptical in downloading after i read some of the reviews but i decided to go for it anyways because there was nothing to lose. The app works and it works great. It worked for 6/8 barcodes i tried and thats good enough for me especially because of its price! GET THIS APP

doesn't work 1. picture is too blurry for this app to read barcode, 2. entering number of a numerous items in my house and still didn't give price. when you enter the numbers it still doesn't work so I would say this app is useless.

Better update and soon... It actually captured the barcodes correctly, which in itself is pretty neat. However... I tried several items, from obscure down to a case of cocacola, and nothing came up with any results, they all said "no product with this barcode could be found."
