Cool!   I like that there's videos linked with the topics too and that the app guesses what you're searching for as you type it.

Excellent dictionary app.   I was looking for a good dictionary app (that's free) and this one is everything I could ask for. The search function is very efficient and the entries are displayed directly from thefreedictionary.com website. The best feature is that there's a little speaker icon you can click to hear the pronunciation of the word. Exemplars are included in the entry page for sample usage. I haven't had any problems or bugs with this app. Despite not using ALL the features this app offers, I'm still 100% satisfied with it (as a dictionary).

To slow to load due to video content   I am on old version iPhone and it is faster to use wikipedoa straight from safari than wait for app to load...

Perfect   Don't understand why anyone would install the entire wikipedia database on their phone (for NINE bucks!) when you can get this pointer app for free. This is perfect. Thx

Truly Useful   Fabulous as a dictionary. Can't imagine why other Wikipedia apps do not also access Wiktionary like this one.
Two improvements needed:
(1) Interface is confusing. Hard to switch between History, Search, and Home. On diffetent screens, the navigation buttons appear capriciously in different locations or not at all.
(2) Need to be able to turn off auto-loading videos. They slow the app and are not always wanted.

WikiTap v 1.0 is OK but...   I've downloaded Wikipanion, Wikiamo and WikiTap and I still like the Wikipanion page layout.Pros: 1. Video links on bottom navigation (You can hide if it distracts you).2. Ability to add videos/photos.Cons: 1. The page layout needs to be fixed. As you scroll to the right or bottom of the page, you see a blank screen. 2. Pronunciation button also takes you to a dictionary page that is not iPhone page friendly.3. You can't save photos (Wikipanion has save photos feature).4. Crashes (but not frequent).Overall, a decent app. - Wiki Tap review by sbgaucho
Amazing   This app replaced wikipanion and dictionary for me.
It does both of those AND has YouTube clips at the bottom, perfect for any kind of searches! - Wiki Tap review by Elitehaxzor
Former Wikipanion User   I was a long time user of Wikipanion, but after trying this app, I just deleted wikipanion for this one. I love the video aspect of this app. Needs just a couple of tweaks, like being able to access the table of contents immediately regardless of whether I am using the cache or wiki view of the article. Also, being able to access and view related to searches or topics to my current search would be useful as would be a history view of my 20 latest searches. Finally, there should be the ability to flag a video that is not related to the topic. If you could implement just a couple of these tweaks, this would easily be a 5 star app. Nice work! - Wiki Tap review by ljmjag
Great work!   Search is amazing. Easy access to TOC would be nice. - Wiki Tap review by Shoban
