iTrain is better I don't have the equiptiment needed for most of the excersises. In iTrain you can choose to use equiptiment or not

Very basic, but good idea for novice. I'm a CPT and think this is a good app for folks who don't know much about weight training. If you are looking for more detailed instructions or more variety of training, I'd pass. BUT, it's a great starter to get acustomed to weight training.
Con; I don't care for some of the stretches, esp the quad/hip flexor. I can see some knees cryin' out in pain.
I'm keeping my eyes on this for any additions/improvements.

Great app This app provides a good way for weight training beginners to learn excercises and how to do them right. With detailed instructions and anatomical drawings of the targeted muscles this app is a must have for beginners

great app this is a great app, it really is useful when your working out alone and don't know what you should and shouldn't do. Although it crashes every one in a while it still is a great app to have for the fitness fanatics.

This app is great! True, I'm just a beginner, but my husband, who's been doing weight training for a while, also likes it. I particularly like that it shows the muscles being targeted.I actually like this enough, I'd have been more than willing to pay for it!If an update were ever to be done, I'd love larger (zoomable), more detailed muscle anatomy images of the whole body - maybe even separate images of the body showing bones and nerves..Edit: For a possible update, I'd also love to see images of the muscles targeted with the stretches.

Needs Some Work I like the graphical aspect of this app, but the content needs work, there needs to be: more exercises, variations on exercises like incline dumbbell press / decline dumbbell press not just dumbbell press, and the ability to create your own workouts and not just use premade workouts. Allow for input on goal reps and sets for each exercise in the custom workout. This app is ok, but with a little work could be a really useful tool.
