Pretty good, but would like to see some improvements First off, thank you for creating a FREE voice recorder. I have several recommendations for your app, which you will hopefully take the time to read. :) I think that you should create a big button on the main screen where all of the previous recordings are displayed which says "record." The reason for doing that is because it makes it a lot easier to quickly start a voice note. Instead of hitting a small + button, then naming it, and then hitting record, all you have to do is press one button and you are already recording. Also, I don't think you should limit the time of the recording. After you are done recording, you would press a "stop" button, and then it would prompt you to enter a name. You would then click a save button. A good feature you could incorporate into the main screen where your voice notes are displayed would be to also display the date they were recorded next to the name. That would be very helpful. One bug I found in this app was that when you searched for a voice note, and it displayed your search results, the only way to get back to the main screen was to hit the search box again and then hit the cancel button. You need a button to go back to the main screen when you are viewing your search results. That is pretty much all of the things I would love to see in a future update. I hope that you can use some of this advice to further improve your program. Thanks for taking the time to read this long review.

It works! There are so many voice recorder apps now, it's hard to pick just one. But this one works and does the job. GarSoft only gets 4 stars (smack!) because there's no way to get the recordings OFF the iPhone. Would be nice to be able to email them as attachments.

Excellent Voice Recorder! Extremely impressed and happy with VoiceNotes. So what if it's limited to 2 minute notes, that's more than enough time. I'm able to create multiple notes that sound crisp and clear. Simple interface that works well, plus it's free.

Basic and Brilliant I love how quick it is to use and save voice notes with this app. I don't need or want a subscription to remind myself to buy milk (or whatever). This is a perfect little app...that does what it's designed to do.

You had me at free! Though not as robust as other voice recordings it's free and in my boom anything given for free is not worth compling about but instead praising and thanking that indivual who took the time to add just a bit more "Wow" factor and functionality to your Iphone.
So thank this developer for his time and effort spent on giving a free voice recording app to the community!

More features I like it but it needs options. Sending through email or something like that. Also I would like to know when I recorded it, rather than typing it in the name of the recording. I would like to be able to tap on it and see the exact time of the recording and what date. I would really like to see it in the next update. Otherwise, great quality in playback.

Decent, but Recordifier preferred I have three voice recorder for the iPhone, and this recorder for me is second to Recordifier because it lacks the ability to record for more than two minutes. Give me that (even at a price) and I'm sold. High-fidelity recordings, recording rename, easy playback, and recording search all included features.

Pretty Good They need a "done" button when editing recording names as it blocks access to the stop button. More than 2 minutes would be nice and emailing notes would be a plus. Otherwise, a solid voice notes app.

Nice, but... Nice to see voice recording software apps being created. Especially free ones. This app does the job, but could use a little bit of polish on the interface and the bug fixed that crashes the phone when I tap on it. After a lengthy automatic reboot, the app will start and run fine. Not sure why the app stays working if used regularly, but it seems that after a day has passed wihthout me using it, that's when the reboot problem strikes again.

Good start... For free. My first trial with a vocorder for the phone, but it would be nice to have a quick record feature, and auto time stamp along with file manipulation. I'll keep looking and wait for the perfect app.

Reduction in keystrokes would nice and date/time stamp filename Repetitive keystrokes to start a recording; to save; and to delete. Would like it default file name to date and time. and automatically save the file when you are done recording. If you want to delete the recording you should be able to swipe across the name and then hit delete, right now you have to tap the file name, hit edit, then click a symbol then hit delete (too many key strokes) This program has a lot of potential and I have contacted Garsoft with my recommendations. I use a Nokia cell phone with voice recorder, I make short notes usually under 10 seconds each, and basically I open the flip press my shortcut, hit one button to start recording and the same button to stop and its automatically saved and given a number that is not in use and its time and date stamped. this is what I am after, so I can take mobile notes of gas prices, etc for reporting to gas buddy.
