Oort Storm is an intense arcade space-shooter action game. Unknown forces have disturbed the Oort Cloud at the edge of our solar system, launching huge numbers of asteroids, mines, and alien artifacts that threaten to destroy the Earth. Use your shield, 3-way fire, Pulse Bombs, and AutoChron 'time freeze' along with all of your skill to make it through 9 levels and prevent the end of civilization if you can! When you're done, submit your score on the Global Ranking leader-board and see how you compare!
HIGHLIGHTS - 9 levels of increasingly challenging play to unlock! - Top 10 Local and Global Rankings - Scores over 100,000 are may be submitted to the Global Ranking server [Note: Requires an active WiFi, Edge, or 3G connection] - Panning sound effects based on ship or explosion position. - Multiple power-ups to help get you through levels. - World-class graphics & sound effects. - The way-it-should-be "Point" or "Turn" accelerometer control for space ship navigation.

Asteroids updated Great app for what it is: an old school rock shooter with cool graphics and excellent controls.
Wish list for future updates:
• hold down shoot button for rapid fire
• More particle effects when blowing stuff up
• more sfx and music

looks great! I love it but it's still too hard to control the turning! The similar program Stellar Blaster is perfect so I know it can be done. And please make the buttons possible to customize for left handed people and for people that would like them near the top of the screen so they can hold the iphone and push the buttons at the same time. I find it easier to play with it upside down which makes me feel like a fool!
