Tapbots is the gold standard At .99 this is a steal. Amazing interface, it just begs you to use it. I already own weightbot, but Convertbot blows it away. Convertbot has tons (more than I will ever use) of conversion options, it's extremely fast, and seems very stable. As others have said, they make the mundane task of converting numbers fun. I can't wait to see what other applications Tapbots come out with.

Great new way of converting units!! This app is such a pleasure to use. The interface makes the iPhone scream look at me! It's a gorgeous app with function to back it up. With an unpresidented way of coverting units with multiple units as a whole such as feet and inches to cm! And the sound fx makes this bot come alive!

Great, easy It'd be nice if the "vault" didn't close out the units when going from "from" to "to". Kind of adds an extra step that isn't necessary. But! I love the app

Best Conversion App By far!! I've bought and downloaded multiple conversion apps, and none have come remotely close to quality of convertbot. The UI is amazing, extremely easy to use and one of the most polished apps I've seen. It's a must download for anyone who uses conversion apps.

Data Storage calculations still wrong I waited for an update to critique. The update came, but this is still incorrect. There are 1,024 MB in a GB. Likewise, there are 1,024 KB in a MB. Very sad that a programmer seemingly doesn't know this basic fact of computing.
Otherwise, totally awesome app. I really love it. Interface is clean and intuitive. Fix the data storage calcs and it gets 5 stars.

Great update Finally the currency function is useful, still get the feeling that some usability is sacrificed for pizzazz, a principle that apple and it's users have accepted for years, so overall excellent eye candy I have to say, I can finally replace my "units" app.

Delicious Interface, but highly questionable UI for long-term usage disclaimer: matter of perception and tasteNo doubt that Tapbots invest a great deal into the beauty of their apps, i can't argue. They're beautiful. But having tried to use this app for a few days, i really ask myself if i'd rather use that rather than a different, simpler aversion.One Giant Wheel, covering 3/4 of the screen in order to choose a unit? One giant wheel with large icons instead of showing the real unit description fonts in larger size? Instead of showing something that is recognizable much faster, in a much clearer fashion? I'm really having a hard time understanding how "unit conversion" was tried to be turned into an eyecandy-adventure on the expense of real simplicity.I will still be on the lookout for new Tapbot apps. After all, the dream is to see beautiful apps like theirs, but with a high simplicity and usability factor.

5 stars for the interface Once I saw the video preview of this App, I had to have it. The joy of using it is alone worth the 1 buck.
I don't give it 5 stars for functionality, I give it for it joy to buck ratio.
So, I hope the developer adds more categories (ex shoe sizes) and more subcategories (ex more currencies) via updates, so I can get rid of my other convertir apps

Getting Closer I am writing an update to my review and updating my rating from one star to four.With version 1.0.1, TapBots showed how they listen to customers, responded with some of the much needed changes, and communicated the roadmap as to when we can expect the rest of the enhancements.ConverBot is now a solid app, and I think within the next two releases, it will be the best in its category. I hope TapBots continues the good work and builds on this great foundation.
