Great App! Just purchased and finished entering all of my stocks in... App works well. Suggest turning off auto update while entering in large amounts of data as the "connecting" screen gets a little annoying after a while. Other than that, it's a great app that is very user friendly. This is going to come in very handy. Great job!!

New Version Significant Improvement [NEW REVIEW] This is a dramatic improvement over the old version, and kudos to the author for this sorely needed upgrade. I still wish ^GSPC would display as S&P 500 and ^IXIC would display as NASDAQ (as they do in the native Stocks app) but that's quibbling and a minor point. Job well done![OLD REVIEW] Lots of potential but amazingly poor interface design. For instance, when you add symbol ^GSPC you don't want your watchlist to repeat ^GSPC, you want it to display S&P 500 (like the built-in "Stocks" app does). Same for ^DJI and ^IXIC (Dow Jones and Nasdaq respectively). In Manage I entered a number of symbols expecting them to display in the order I entered (since the program doesn't give you the ability to sort), yet lo and behold it switched around the order. Took me awhile but finally discovered that you don't add to your portfolio holdings on the portfolio page (my bad). Finally, as others have pointed out, it is unbelievably poor design on the Watchlist page to have letters and numbers displayed as white against light gray. Poor choice.

Great upgrade The upgrade to 4.1 is night and day over the old version. It is very easy to use and it has a clean looking display. I am able to track my multiple portfolios and the multiple lots of stocks. And there is a great summary of daily gain, total gain, portfolio value and cash balance.

Great! A very good App that does the job quickly with easy data entry. I had a missing stock symbol added overnight with no trouble. Well worth trying although a summary of the total portfolio value in addition to the current G/L would be appreciated.

It's extremely slow to connect to the network. And half the time it encounters an error, and can't connect at all.

I want my money back.... This app is just horrible. Where do start...? (1) You cannot specify the number of shares you have, meaning if you have 13.21 of a share it will round to 13.......making your current value lower than it actually is. Now imagine you have several stocks and with the automatic rounding, you are basically screwed. (2) My portfolio reads "0" at the end of the day. So I don't know where I stand until the begininng of the next day, when the markets open and that is even 15 minutes delayed on this app so more problems. (3) UI is horrible. Have to type in small little boxes and the use of menu buttons on the bottom is of very little help. Screen-to-screen transition is very slow. (4) Price.....should be free, even that wouldn't justify to get this app....what a rip-off.Whoever created this app, "Sorry. Don't normally write bad reviews, but your app just doesn't cut it. Maybe if you fix the app with future updates and lower the price it might be justifiable.....but right-now it's just bad."

Need Improvement Just bought this apps and I found apps is ok but there is room for improvement.
1. Need to support multiple portfolios
2. Slow. Need to speed up.
3. Need to allow tracking buy/sell as well as initial cash for portfolio tracking.
4. Need to be able to link to google finance for faster updates. Yahoo is too slow for 15 min. Google almost immediate update.

AWFUL!! Do not waste your money on this one! It is the slowest app on my iPhone and sometimes doesn't connect at all. There are also issues with the symbol lookup and several I put in it did not find, even though they are in every other stock app I have. Stay away, this is one of those that they rushed to market and I've never seen an update for it to correct anything!

Keep going - this has potential I love the navigation. It runs too slow - but all the stock apps update slowly. Be careful the data doesn't seem up-to-date. For example GE and BAC show old dividend rates and EPS for GPC is wrong.
Keep working on this!!! It could be awesome!!!

This App is good just for the fact that it lists commoditys Ive been looking for awhile for an App that will give me commodity quotes(im not sure if there are others, but i have been looking). I noticed that under US "Stock Exchanges" they listed CME, CBT etc... which are futures exchanges. For $3 i figured its worth a shot. I am so happy with this. Its is by no means the best stock program but it does let you list your own portfolio and see your profits, losses. Which is a great feature. My only complaint is that it only shows daytrading quotes(or the quotes from those hours) no overnight electronic quote update. Really Disappointed in this one . . . Why is it so hard to get a decent stock app like I have on my Palm? This one promises things it does not deliver, like Portfolio management. YOU CANNOT manage your portfolio, there is not even a way to se your whole portfolio together. All you can see is each stock, one at a time, and gain/loss together. There is no way to manage cash. I am in and out of positions all the time, and need to see my cash flow to decide what to buy next. There is no way to tell how your portfolio is doing. There should be a portfolio button on the home page as well. Don't be fooled by this one's description- read it very carefully. If you are interested at only looking at individual stocks in your portfolio, and no a whole picture of how you are doing, this is for you. As it is, it is just moderately better than the Native app, so it's only worth .99 to me. Bloomberg is much better for news and info, but has no portfolio tracker. Very Buggy & Doesn't Work Right I really wanted a portfolio manager to keep track of my mutual funds and stocks. First, it couldn't find mutual funds by symbol that both the built in app and Bloomberg had no trouble finding. Then, when I gave it a symbol it could find it created multiple entries with only one of the entries having real data. I could not delete the bogus entries. It was very slow to find information and the screen kept refreshing and changing. The interface is anything but intuitive. App is great in tracking your portfolio ! I bought this app for $4.99, i think it is a fair price. $2.99 is a steal. Needs Improvement I bought this app and quickly removed it. Not nearly as good as "Stock Manager" by TinyStocks, for the Palm. Missing ability to keep separate portfolios or accounts. Awful...awful...just awful... I've never reviewed an application before, but given this one literally stole my $2.99...I'm compelled.Buttons don't work well, you have to push some 3-4 times before it will register. Dissapointed about the 5-star reviews I thought I would trust the guy below me and pay for this app since he claimed this was better than the infamous and free bloomberg app. However I regret it dreadfully. This app is nothing compared to bloomberg in terms of greater usability. This app is just so limited in features compared to bloomberg.

Not worth the $ For a paid app I expected a lot more. I am not sure what the other high reviews are based on. Good Start but Needs Improvement This is a good start for an iPhone stock app, but needs several improvements. For many years I have used TinyStocks in Palm which simply worked well and displayed all the information for a good portfolio management.
