10BII Calc is a business calculator featuring over 100 built-in functions for business, finance, mathematics and statistics. Easily calculate loan payments, interest rates, amortization, discounted cash-flow analyses, TVM (loans, savings, and leasing), bonds and depreciation using a simplified algebraic entry system. The keyboard and display have been carefully optimized for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Seven different keyboard layouts allow you to do much more than a 10BII calculator while maintaining compatibility with the standard.
Features:
Time Value of Money- Loans, savings, leases and amortization schedules using both the standard keyboard and a specialized TVM solver window that displays the contents of all the variables for rapid "what if" solutions to your problems. View and email amortization tables.
Interest Conversion- Nominal and effective rates.
Cash Flows- Net present value, internal rate of return, net future value and net uniform series calculations. Up to 80 cash flows are easily edited and reviewed using the dedicated cash flow editor screen. Entries are added, deleted and modified in a scrolling display with a touch interface unique to the iPhone.
Business Percentages- Percent change, markup, and margin calculations.
Statistics- Mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, and linear regression forecasting, weighted mean. Sample editor and plotter, forecasting using linear, log, exp or power fit.
Conversions- 47 world currency rates and over 100 commonly used metric, english and other conversion factors used in financial, business, scientific and engineering calculations.
Scientific- sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan plus the hyperbolic trig functions, conversion between rectangular and polar coordinates, conversion between degrees and radians, time functions including h.ms+ and h.ms-, log, ln, 10ˣ, eˣ, yˣ, x root of y, fraction part and integer part. Trig functions can be computed in radians, degrees or gradians.

10BII Calculator This works exactly like the name brand calculator, only it's actually better. You can see the numbers you've input for time value of money, and you can see an entire amortization schedule. And, of course, it's nice not to have to carry something extra. Excellent value.

Great app! Great calculator! I really love this calculator! I didn't know you could add decimal places so I emailed the creator and they replied very quickly and told me how to do it (very easy btw) and you can choose from 0 to 14 decimal places :) also the calculator has an info section that teaches you all that. I paid 30 bucks for a TI but I wish I would have known about this app earlier. GREAT JOB!!!

Great implementation of the 10bII with lots of extras! Ernest Block has truly done a great job with this product. He has made it so much more functional than the original. His TVM input screen (blue shift button) makes using the time value function so much easier as well as making it extremely user friendly. I understand he will be adding a Bond calculation module that will be similar to the TVM input screen - very sweet! If you need a calculator with the functions that this has, this is the one to get.UPDATE for New Version 2.03 - Ernest Block just keeps making it better. The new display of FV, PMT, PV, I, N values above their respective keys is terrific. Thanks Ernie.

Best financial calculator for the iPhone period I have owned several HP financial calculators over time, and my favorite was the 19B II Business consultant II. (I still have it)I've tried several iPhone apps that emulated an HP calculator, but most failed because they just copied a physical calculator.The 10BII Calc Financial Calculator app, improves over a proven calculator and gives us specialized screens that facilitate data input and comprehension, it gives us amortization tables, easy statistical data input methods and the list of improvements keeps on growing with each update.There are some small bugs, but fortunately those are mostly esthetic and not functional, for example when you have payments that are not monthly, on the amortization table the buttons let you choose between yearly and monthly tables, even though the payment period is not monthly.

Best Calculator in the App Store This calculator is far superior than the HP 10BII. The developer has improved the interface in CF and TVM modes plus he has added stat and math modes. In other words, it is three HP calculators in one. Plus he's added bonds and depreciation that were in the 12C but missing in the 10BII. The developer is very attentive to his customer and responds quickly to questions and suggestions. ***Update*** 3/25/09The developer keeps adding more features to this app, yet the size remains at .5mb - I don't know how he does this. If I could give this app another 5 stars I would. Simply the best financial app in the store. Thank you Ernie!

Incredible Calculator! I already own the real 10BII, and I love the way this App enhances the already familiar interface of the actual 10BII calculator. However, this App goes way beyond the features of the real 10BII. Absolute BEST!!!! Don't waste your time searching for another calculator. This is the ONE people. I have the physical 10bII and 17bII HP versions...and this iTouch/iPhone version is on steriods compared to it's other physical counter parts. It's sooo much easier to enter cashflows and immediately report MIRR, NPV, & IRR. Stop reading reviews and get this one!

CEO I've never seen an app with so many positive reviews from so many different people, so it's nice to have trusted all that sound advice. I've used an HP-12C for 20 years and thought that was the best product. After using this app for only an hour, I'm completely happy to dump the 12C on eBay, and forget-a-bout-it !!!
You could waste time like I did by reading about 15 other calculators, or you could just buy this one in the next 2 minutes, and spend the remaining 58 doing something more fun !

Best Calculator for iPhone and iTouch! This app has been around for awhile as a PP download. The author has ported it to the iPhone, and it is just as awesome as before! Buy it you will not regret it. It does FIN and TVM calcs easily - works just like the real HP calculator it emulates - highly recommended!

Much more than a standard 10BII This is hands down the best algebraic financial calculator App for the iPhone. At the time of this review, there are two 10BII calculator Apps available on the App Store. The other App is just a normal 10BII at the same price as this one. This App however contains much more than may be initially apparent. Look at the screen shots of the two competing calculator Apps side by side. See the extra purple shift names “home, tvm, CF, conv, and math” over the zero, period, equal, plus and minus keys in this App? Those extra functions make this calculator much more than a 10BII.The home screen is as you see in the screenshot – a normal 10BII.The tvm screen makes time value of money calculations much easier by showing you all of the N, I, PV, PMT, FV, and Amortization variables all on the screen real time. This makes it very easy to go back and forth solving for various variables, as well helping you remember what is currently in those registers. This feature alone makes this App one of the best tvm calculators I have used.The CF screen allows you to enter a list of unequal cash flows and have a real time running computation of Total, NPV, and IRR. The list interface allows you to scroll back through the cash flow list and make changes on the fly.The conv screen gives you several conversions such as temperature, velocity, length, etc.The math screen turns this financial calculator into a scientific calculator. It is like having a completely different calculator in one App.I did find one non critical bug and I emailed the author. I got a response quickly letting me know that the fix was already done and was already in to Apple for updating to the App Store. Respectable entry for business calc So SalesCalc just bit the dust. This is the same price and does so much more. I've not owned an HP 10BII so I can't fairly compare it. But it is one of the better business calc apps out there. If you're not into RPN (no, it's not RPN, but neither is HP's 10BII). If you need a quick way to do TVM calculations then the solver table is great for that. If you are looking for a good business calc that is algebraic rather than RPN then this is for you.A few things that keep me from giving 5 stars. Little things like undo or shake to clear. No ability to change to a horizontal layout. However the developer did take it beyond the basic 10BII with the extended math functions. One Big Flaw Loved the calculator app, especially since I own an HP10B and use it daily. I was all set to leave the HP10B at the office and just use this app on my iphone, until I decided to compare the two calculators and found that the Calc10BII is off in its mortgage calculations when compared to my HP10B. I also tested the Calc10BII against another mortgage calculator and same result. I would love to give this product 5 stars but I can't since it doesn't function properly for mortgage payment calculations.
