"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is a 1921 short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald and adapted for a 2008 film by the same name.
The BeamItDown Book Collections use a very different approach to reading that is absolutely ideal for the screen of the iPhone and iPod Touch. Other reader applications display the text of the book you are reading in individual pages. The number of words that can be displayed on the screen at one time is determined by the size of the font used. This forces you to choose between reading with a very small font size or using a large font and changing pages every few seconds. The problem is that reading with a very small font induces eye strain, while frequent paging disrupts concentration.
The BeamItDown iFlow Reader solves this problem by using an entirely new approach to reading. Instead of paging, the BeamItDown iFlow Reader scrolls text much like a teleprompter. Large, easy to read text scrolls by smoothly as you read. The precise scrolling speed is controlled by subtly tilting the device, which quickly becomes very intuitive and natural. You can personalize your reading experience by selecting the paper color, text color, text size, and the font that you prefer to create a truly enjoyable reading experience.

Becomes intuitive   The scrolling thing took me about a minute to get used to - I had to adjust it so it was much slower - but by the end of the story I forgot I was controlling the movement. Very clever little app. I haven't checked out the 100 books app but I will now.
Yeah, did notice a typo in the story though, which drives my OCD a little nuts. Maybe the non-promo books are better though.

Awesome!   It's short, but great! At first I thought this was a short version of the book, I found out THIS is a short story, not a novel. So it's worth it! Very interesting!! I love the features it has and I think I will buy the full version and by that I mean the 100 books app, I never thought I'd read books on my iPhone I thought it would strain my eyes too much but it didn't, the font was large and it was great! Plus it's free!!! The only thing bad might be spelling errors in some parts but I don't mind them, not so many I can't understand it--so two thumbs up!

Perfect!   I had hoped for a reader app, a la the Kindle, when I first got my iPhone, but didn't find any. I am so happy to now find one! The interface is perfect. Just set the type style and size to your preference, then start reading! Getting used to controlling the speed of the scroll with the tilt of the iPhone is almost automatic. I stumbled on the freebie sample when I was on a train - bored out of my mind and uncomfortable in my seat. Reading on the iPhone took me away just like a real book would have. Right away I ordered the 50 books for $9.99 so I'll always have something to read as long as I have my iPhone on hand.

Horrible way to read a book.   The auto-scroll makes me feel that I have to speedread. It's not a question of the scrolling going too fast, it's the very motion that makes it feel as if you can't focus on the text, instead always having to hurry up.
In addition, when you tap the screen to make the scrolling stop, the text jumps around, which makes it hard to focus on where you are in the text.
Simple thumb-scrolling would be much preferable.
