Works well with MoneyWell I am so pleased to find this app. I have been waiting for something that would allowing me to connect or import the data into MoneyWell. This works great! I gave it a four because it would be better if it connected directly, but I am not complaining because it works!

New version to complex I've been using this app since it's launch and I'm unhappy with the newest version. This apps load time has slowed over time, it doesn't seem to delete very old entries. The new version's auto filling amounts means I now have to delete an incorrect amount everytime I want to enter a!transaction from the same store. Reversing the order the transactions show, adding the date bars and having to load additional transactions have made this app cluttered and harder to use. I really liked the previous version, but this update is a step backward in ease of use, hope it goes back to quick and easy to use.

Almost Perfect - April 2, 2009 I've looked at them all and this one has the most BANG for the buck!
This is the most important app you will have on your device. After all, it's your MONEY we are talking about here. The excellent two way sync insures if there is a problem, you can put your data back together again. And, it actually WORKS! I have tried the sync both ways a it worked flawlessly. Also, just changed from Windows XP to Mac OS X. & works Perfect.
Lots of other apps offer data export but if something goes wrong with your device, you can't get the data back into the app except by manually re-entering it.
The developers have listened to us and implemented many of our ideas. The evoloution of this app continuous to impress me. Meaner and leaner all the time. Faster easier input.
It works very well. That is the bottom line and my data is safe. I can export and import!
This is the app you should have. A complete solution.
The developer responds quickly to implement user bug reports and suggestions.

Exactly what I've been looking for... It's basically a glorified checkbook register, but that's exactly what I've been wanting. Definitely helps to keep the check-card balanced out better. I used to have one similar to this for a handspring back in the day and I've been missing it ever since. I've spent the past two days scouring the app store for this very thing...and finally it just got added this morning. Definitely worth the $$ in my opinion. The UI could use a little more "user friendliness" when it comes to creating/editing accounts, and i had it crash on me once, but other than that I'm very happy with it. - Day Bank - Budget Expenses Checkbook review by nottahick
Has some pretty big flaws, but still probably the best one so far I was choosing between this and pocket money and read the reviews on pocket money and it was said that program crashes all the time so I wernt with day bank. Day Bank doesn't crash, but it has some basic features missing. It doesn't give you and overall balance of all your accounts, when you are typing in the name of transaction that you have already entered before you still have to type out the entire name. Most programs like this will realize what your typing and finish it for you. It allows you to enter categories but there is no way to show a graph showing how those categories fit with your spending habits. The program also does not allow you to transfer funds from one account to another. The only way is to enter and transfer as 2 seperate transactions. There also small things like you can't change the reorder of transactions so that the newest transactions appear at the top. Thats what i prefer but they appear at the bottom and thats all you get. Even with all this said the program does what its suppose to do so I have to give it a 4. Almost a replacement for Pocket Quicken on my PDA I've tried most of the other apps that will take banking entries into Quicken. This one is the best so far. Outstanding App Amazingly simple! This app is very easy to use. Even with its simplicity it has a lot of features the others don't, it's worth your time and money. The user interface is great as well.
I am still looking for a few more features; more options for reports, memorized payees (instead of cobbling together a "Quick Entry") and the memo line to show up without having to click on each transaction to see its memo.

Excellent upgrade and an excellent app Excellent upgrade added a lot of new features. Don't listen to all the less-than-intelligent reviewers saying they can't login after the upgrade. It took me about 5 seconds to figure it out because I actually read what the developer said and used the default code of 7 to login and then changed it back to my original. If you're too stupid to read, well then I guess you shouldn't be using an iphone. Anyways, this is probably the best finance app on itunes and all for $4, which is less than other apps with all these features. does exactly what i need it to do i researched every check register/money management app available on itunes and found day bank to be exactly what i needed. all i wanted was a check register that:-was easy to use-would show me totals for reconciled and non-reconciled transactions separately-had the ability to customize each entry with a "reconciled" icon and transaction typeday bank delivers on all of these. i gave day bank 4 stars because i think it could improve on the following:-quicker start upit's by no means slow to start up, but it would be nice to not have to even see a splash screen upon launching the app. of course i'm no programmer and the splash screen may be necessary but if they could figure out how to start up instantaneously, it would be great-numeric keys for amount input instead of qwertywhen you click on the button to add an entry amount you get a full qwerty. i find the alphabet characters to be unnecessary and they take up space. a nice big numeric keypad (like when you're dialing in phone mode) would make entry that much quicker-ability to customize the "quick entry" featurei'm still not totally sure what quick entry does, but if there was a way to indicate what fields you want available, it would make quick entry more productive imhoa lot of the other apps tout the ability to export data to your computer but i never plan to do this so i won't even comment on day bank's exporting features. bottom line, if you're looking for a reliable and easy to use check register look no further than day bank. it's well worth the 4 bucks. can't wait to see an update! - Day Bank - Budget Expenses Checkbook review by manny99a
