Pinochle is a card game that has been around for a very long time. A pinochle deck is different from a traditional deck of cards in that it consists of only A, K, Q, J, 10 & 9's, two of each in each suit making 48 cards. This application is a 4 player, 2 team version of the game that uses a single Pinochle deck and players bid for the right to choose the trump suit.
The application uses a simple drag and drop interface to move cards from the players hand to the table. While the application allows for solo play, it also allows multiplayer games using over bluetooth connections to allow up to 4 i-devices to participate in a real time game. Bluetooth radio must be turned on in order for multiplayer games to work properly. Multiplayer is not supported on some iDevices.

Solo games are stored in progress to your iDevice so you can play games over time.
Multiplayer games through local wi-fi or blue tooth radio allows up to 4 players. If connections are lost, the computer is inserted to take the missing player's hand.
Multiplayer games can be joined in between hands.
Passing 4 cards between players is an option that can be turned on or off on the settings page.
Flexible bidding interface allows for players to jump their bid speeding up the bidding or allowing for meld bids between players
Tapping the scoreboard briefly displays the previous trick in case you missed it.
