Poor video quality This app provides news, weather, and top stories as stated. It also loads fairly quickly. However, the video quality is very poor. I am sticking with a news video podcast and deleting this app from my phone until the video is up to snuff.

Very entertaining Def a must have app. I'm from the bay area (CA) and it has all the local stories I want to hear about but don't get to watch the stories on tv. So awesome I'd pay for it. But it's FREE. alerts are weird and irrelevant it seems but it's a small portion of the app and who really cares- not me

Why not Seattle?! My only problem so far is that Seattle isn't included. Like the guy in Texas, Seattle is one of the ten major cities in America. WTF? Other than that, seems to be a good app.

Local Affiliate KABC not working after restoring iPhone !! iPhone restored and now the ABC news local affiliate that I really enjoyed watching is just blank!! Added back deleted app several ways and nothing renews the KABC station.Please advise.

Doesn't have my city! :( This app only has certain cities for the local news... Dallas, TX isn't one of them, which is mine :( I enjoyed the other things the app has, however I didn't like the fact that I cannot read of what's going on in my area. - ABC News review by My thoughts
ok... needs more work this app is ok but it could be very good. it needs a lot more work. won't determine your location for iPod touch users and it doesn't have a set your own location area. there are no customiations as in say the new York times app. being able to customize it would be nice. otherwise this app is just a hub for abc news videos. and the video quality is terrible, it is very blurry. - ABC News review by Josh16
A great news app from one of the networks I've been hoping that one of the TV news networks would create an app for the iPhone and this first one from ABC is exactly what I wished for. The story updates happen about once every hour. The links to the ABC news shows (This Week, World News, 20/20, etc.) are very convenient and a lot like subscribing to 5 different podcasts at the same time. The link to the local ABC affiliate is also very convenient to catch up on local news. This is a perfect app for a news junkie who checks their iPhone at least every few hours. I hope that the other major networks or cable news networks also create apps like this one. This first app sets the bar very high! - ABC News review by carterme

Could Be Better But a Great Start the videos are youtube quality not the best but ok. Too Little News Under "Top News" I found 8 videos, 10 photos, and 10 written stories. That's it. At least one of these was nothing more than an editorial/'opinion' piece. For others, I had a hard time seeing how they could be viewed as one of the world's top 8 or 10 news stories.
Pro:
- The app has a very polished look and feel.
Cons:
- Too little news
- Poor audio and video quality
- No way to look at news by major region of the world (e.g., North America, Middle East, Africa)
- No breakdown of news by major category (e.g., politics, business, health, sports, tech)
- ABC appears to view its own editorials/opinions as news
