Useful?   Unlike the voice diaper, I don't find this app too useful... It should have been incorperated into one app (with voice dialer)

Needs refinement, but a good start.   By now you've discovered or read that this app actually does what it says! Congrats to the developer. So I'm going to focus upon areas that need improvement:• Having to "tap and hold" while speaking a search is tedious -- especially for one-handed operation. Why can't we tap once to start recording, then tap again to stop recording? This small modification would make the app infinitely easier to use.• Each time you return to the app to perform a new search, you're shown a page that displays the *previous* search -- and *no* other info! Nowhere is the user informed that in order to perform a new search, he/she has to first tap on the name of the *old* search. This is flat-out counterintuitive. Even if you eventually figure it out, why should this page be so ambiguously designed? Why not have two buttons -- one labeled "New search" and another displaying the "Previous Search"? Doing so would greatly clarify the procedure.• After performing a search (or when returning to a previous search), the result is displayed at the top of the window, yet the "Go" button (which takes you to a map of that item) is at the very bottom of the window. Because of the huge amount of space between these two elements, it's not clear that one relates to the other. They seem like separate functions. Why can't the "Go" button be immediately beneath the item to which it refers?• Finally, in general the developer takes the phrase "Say Where" too seriously and uses it, throughout the app, in a manner that's confusing. For example, the first page says, "Say Where to which site?" This is confusing, because at first it appears that this is a command (i.e., it appears the user is supposed to speak something). But no -- this is just a "cutesy" way of saying, "Where would you like to search?"Developer, we already know the name of the app. Please consider avoiding the use of the phrase "Say Where" in sentences where it doesn't make sense. Instead of displaying "Say Where to which site?," you could display "Search which site?" And instead of displaying "Say Where to Google Maps," you could display "Search Google Maps." Simple, "normal" language would be clearer and would avoid confusion.Three stars for functionality that needs refinement. I look forward to an update!

This is great!!   I hate typing and this app understood everything I was saying. I can't wait to actually use it when I go on vacation. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by BigFan69
Excellent...I totally love it!   This is the perfect answer to getting directions anywhere fast. It's accurate and so easy to use! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by MSean
Wow this is useless   I'm not one for a bad review (usually), but this just doesn't make any sense. What user are they aiming for?
Yes, the audio recognition is darn good. BUT, and this is a pretty big but (an insurmountable one as currently implemented), it takes more keystrokes to get to the audio recognition part than if you were to type the address yourself.
The description states that you just say the location, then choose the website. Not true. First you have to drill down to the exact place you want, then you can use the audio.
If the prospective user is a driver needing directions, they'll still need to pull over to use this program just as they would to use Google maps. And, again, it's much quicker to just use Maps, since you have to wait for this program to load, then drill down, then hold the button while speaking, then wait for the program to contact the server (the actual conversion doesn't take place on the phone), then wait for Maps to load.
If there is another target user for this app, then nevermind. But drivers beware, - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Aryxus
This thing is great!   I thought it would be ok...
But this actually works great!! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Maze2402
It makes the search for places easier   It's awesome!! It is really easy to use and it even understands no native English speakers like myself. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Pollo1979
Rockin   Worked as descibed. Enjoy the ability to get information without having to type for 10 mins. Fun app with lots of potential! I recommend it for people like me that have a difficult time typing and driving lol - Say Where - Voice Maps review by iphonatic1212
How'd I ever get by without this?!?   Seriously, how does anybody get by without voice support? This is one of those apps that should have been part of the OS to start with. Thank you sooo much for the free app! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Webeye
Amazing!!!   I have to admit i couldn't have been more skeptical. But i just tried 50 different addresses, businesses and intersections. It got every single one right!@!!!I can't even believe it! I recently reviewed a voice recognition app for contacts... umm, didn't work at all.Hey guys please make some other voice apps for contact list and other applications! Great work, very impressed.Rock G - Say Where - Voice Maps review by RockGee
Thank You!   This is a real help when driving! Thank for a great app! Everyone needs to buy this and give it a try! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by ...Tim...
Amazing & Accurate   This is by far the best speech recognition software I've seen on the iPhone! It is also innovative in that it itegrates the map application & saves time by letting you speak the place or address. You guys REALLY need to make a voice DIALING app!
Like the rest I would say a few less steps would be nice but overall I'm very satisfied. 5 stars easy! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Mhollin
This app would be awesome...if it worked.   First, you have to punch more buttons just to get to the "say" point than typing in the address. Second, It fails to get the correct address 7 out of 10 times. I use Reqall so I know it's not my speaking that is a problem. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by dkTV
Excellent idea!   this is a great idea, seems like it should have been built right into the iphone to begin with! -using voice recognition is much easier than trying to type when you're on the go (walking around). the latest version is much easier to use, with less button clicks to get to the final results. so far, it's been fairly accurate, with at least one of the matches usually being the correct one. the developer is also very responsive to feedback (you can submit it at their website), and is apparently working on further ease-of-use improvements, some of which were suggested in previous reviews. i guess best of all is that the app is free, makes it hard to complain. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by woohoo3
Awesome!!   By far, the most usefull app I have. I work at a different place every day, and this app gets me there fast, even when the address I have is a little off. This app corrects it. Very smart program, I love it! - Say Where - Voice Maps review by Nugpotman
Excellent application. Works perfectly!   Works perfectly. This is another app from these guys that actually exceeded my expectations (just like Say Who did). It's all touch and speek for me from now on. Who needs keyboards ;-) Nice work and thank you for making this freely available - Say Where - Voice Maps review by kparad
Not very efficient   I thought it would use voice commands the whole time. It is a great idea. But there's faster ways to get this info & it didn't always find what I was searching for. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by H007
Useless App   This is a useless application. Didn't recognize my voice....don't bother uploading this. If I could rate this negative I will but I could only give 1 star. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by jm0979
FREE and AWESOME   great app, much faster now...it should just default to google and just assume your are searching locally so you can get right to MIC and just say what you want...Gas Station, or address, similar to just typing into google maps... - Say Where - Voice Maps review by jaset
Worth exactly what you paid for it.   Thankfully it was free. Have tried using this for 2 days, not once has it worked, not even a little bit. - Say Where - Voice Maps review by COsky1
