iWant is essentially the combination of 3 location based apps : Restaurant reviews (Yelp, UrbanSpoon), Movie showtimes (Flixter, Fandango) and Yellow Pages (Yellow Pages, AroundMe). Why use iWant instead of these separate ones ?
• iWant is faster, simpler and presents all this varied information in a clean and unified view. It will help you reduce clutter on your home screen as it combines the functionality of several other apps.
• Unlike typical Yellow Pages apps like AroundMe, iWant gives you restaurant reviews (instead of just a list of names) and movie times (rather than just a list of theaters near you) so that you can make an informed decision.
• iWant has 3 pages of category icons, giving you one-tap access to over 30 categories. Also, you can filter restaurants and nightlife with another two taps -- no typing required.
• iWant can also show you nearby landmarks from Wikipedia (try the 'W' icon on the second page) so that you can use iWant like a virtual tour guide in a new city.
• Use the settings icon (bottom left) to narrow or expand the search radius. Use the map icon (bottom right) to see your results plotted on an interactive map.

Great all-in-one App This is an app that integrates so many useful functions into one. It moves from Yelp to Google maps to GPS to phone functions without stumbling in between. I love the newly added categories like spas and nail salons. It's easy to locate bookstores, restaurants, gas stations, etc. within 15 miles of your current location or from a location of your choice, read YELP reviews of it, get a phone number and driving directions. The icons for the various categories are simple but easy to interpret. Thanks for all the updates in this new version! Couldn't ask for more in a free app.

**A REAL REVIEW** Great overall app- People come on here and post garbage because the app crashes or it seems buggy...it's your IPHONE- RESTORE IT!!Pros- Good integration with maps, simples interface, consolidation of multiple apps in one, and the selection is great. Cons- If you choose various radius' (Up to only 5 Miles) it will give you various results (That really needs to be fixed). Honestly, theycould of put some color on the home page. Having apps and handheld devices are useful, but we also need eye candy. The pros outweight the cons for this app and overall it's great. - iWant review by Randomluck
iWant is iNifty Simple, yet attractive layout and design. So far, the app runs smoothly with few errors. The app lets you move the current location. Does not act like a free app (performs much better)!The "Movies" feature was probably one of the best of the app. After selecting the movie you want to see, it shows both the movie theaters where it is playing and the times. Nifty!For a free app, this is decent. However, it missed several gas stations, banks, and bars that were closer than ones located. Worked like a champ for me . . . I downloaded this app and checked it from my home and office (where I knew what it SHOULD find). It didn't get everything, but got most of the points of interest around me. Click on one, and get the phone number, address, RATING (all of which you can read) etc etc. It worked great, this will be very useful in a place that I am not familiar with. I'm not sure what people are expecting for free, this is an app that does exactly what it says it does and does it well. Maybe the guy who couldn't find any bars or restaurants should expand the search range, which is simple to do. I recommend this one. What do you have to lose? Problems with application This application presents a fantastic idea but the problem is the restaurant, bar, cafe and clothing store functions do not work. Nothing comes up on their lists. All other functions work as they should, though. I strongly advise Rudrajit to look into and fix this problem ASAP. - iWant review by BDawg85

Lots to like here There are a lot of apps that find the nearest hotels, or restaurants, or gas stations, or movie theatres, but this app does it all, and does it quicker than any of those specialty apps. With the possible exception of Box Office (for the Rotten Tomatoes ratings and other features), I would junk the other apps (Yelp, Urbanspoon, YPmobile, &c.) in favor of this one. Get the others only if you find this one's functionality insufficient for your purposes. MAIN DOWNSIDE: maximum 5 mile search radius. I'm sure they'll fix that soon. - iWant review by JERKS-R
Nice interface - map integration is good compared to other apps Nice summarized interface and the fact that the map is within the app rather than switching to the native map app is very good. 1. I suggest adding a food category for Kosher and Vegan rather than just Vegetarian. 2. have web links in the movie section to fandango... so that you can buy tickets directly on line3. add some color to make it visually more appealingoverall very nice and fast - iWant review by elevy

Great app, but the map is ineffective. You can't zoom the map; for me, it's zoomed in so far, that it's completely ineffective. Useless If only 0 stars was possible. The interface is OK but it pulls up no data and I live in a major metro area. Found my location via the GPS but found nothing other than some movies. Gas stations: it pulled up two 7-11 gas stations (there are dozens closer to me) and then after a few seconds they all disappeared? WTF? Needs a stronger database to handle the load or just more information. It's now been removed from my iPhone. - iWant review by OldNo7fan

Location, location, location. Not bad at all for a free app! However I wish it would update your current location when you start the app, or at least provide a GPS button where you can manually reset your current location. Wow...just an AMAZING APP This is THE BEST gps/yellow page like app EVER. I was about to by that other gps app "Where To" untill a reviewer pointed me to this app. I was BLOWN AWAY. It works flawlessly, and unlike the other app, its not an extension to gmaps. Instead, it used google map like features to give a 100% interactive map with a little marker on points of interest. Leave the Garmin home, bwcouse I tested this VS the Garmin to find a local coffy shop, 2 to 3 times faster. While the user interface is not amazig, the rating features are. It uses Yelp mobile to get you ratings on restaurants. It gives you movie showtimes, ratings, locations, and theaters. Best of all ITS FREE!!!!!! - iWant review by Luqven
