Sudoku Classic is a slimmed-down version of Sudoku Unlimited, our flagship sudoku app. This version is perfect for anyone that likes the occasional game of sudoku on the bus, in the waiting room, or anytime they've got a spare few minutes to kill.

Simple and Easy Ok, so I got suckered into buying this by seeing it first in the list (see other reviews complaining about the shady trick of putting the price in the title to make it show up first). However, I'm perfectly happy with this version of Sudoku. Pros: - Listen to your own music- Simple "overlay" interface makes entry easy- Auto-fill and hints- Menus/buttons look like the standard Apple iPhone interface- Automatic save/restart on exiting the app- Low price. Cons: - Very small font for the penciled in numbers (regular numbers okay)- Alphabetizing trick for the title.Overall, I'm glad I got this, and I'm seriously considering getting the "Unlimited" version, which has new interface themes, and an unlimited number of auto-generated puzzles. This version is great for the price, though.

Cheap price, good app. I doubt the bad reviewers even played this game. It does what its supposed to do, play Sudoku. Great for the price.

Well worth 99 cents You really can't go wrong for 99 cents. I couldn't figure out how to erase something I put in wrong. It would let me change it but not remove it as far as I could tell.....

Very Good I think this is a very good implementation of Sudoku for iPhone and you cannot go wrong with it's free price tag. It has all the features (including notes) that I was looking for in a Sudoku app and does what its description says it does...very well.

Stop complaining Yeah, he was wrong to cheat with the name. But the bottom line is for 99 cents this is a good game. To erase a number that you accidentally entered just click that space and hit the wrong number that you chose. That erases the square.
Next time don't cheat to be listed up top.

Much improved The new update corrects the few problems I had with this app. In particular, the ability to move around the input pad helps a lot!

They got it right. I was so impressed by Sudoku Daily that I'm buying the full version. The skins are beautiful, but what impressed me was the ease of reading and manipulating the pencil marks, how number entry does not block out important squares (it comes up without overlapping the row/column in question and can be moved or made transparent), being able to turn error indicators on and off, how number entry remembers whether it's in pencil or number mode, etc. --- fully thought out for ease of use, as befits a product for an Apple platform.

Give them a break The app is good, and works as expected(by the way, to get rid of a number, just tap on it again). I'm so glad that all of you are perfect and don't ever mistakes! The developers scewed up, who cares. Besides apple made it so the app store doesn't work that way. The app has a good clean interface and few bugs. I am glad a bought it regardless of all you jackasses that feel that this app is a scam or that the developers cheated.

Great app for the price Easy to use, make notes or delete them, even clear a square with a tap of the X on the input window. It does all that is advertised but I had two small complaints; the game sounds sometimes just stop, and the input window is always right next to the selected square. This will sometimes cover part of the 3x3 square that you are working in.I would give it 4 stars (for the fact of the obstructed squares) if it weren't for the slant given to the GAME for all of the non-review complaints over naming. Obviously Phase2 Media was trying to discern between the two (yes 2) different versions of the same game that they were offering, and for the confusion they will be offering a free Daily version as an apology. If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at Apple, as they have the final say on what is allowed in the store or not! Apple allowed them to post as they did.

terrific I have killed probably ab out 30 hours by now. Great game.I especially like that it can fill out the little memo numbers itself, saving me from tedious and uninteresting work.One thing I would like to see is more helpful hints - the app should not only tell what to do, but also why so that I could learn.

Great app here! I'm surprised so many people are complaining about this app considering how good it really is. It's simple interface is exactly what I'm looking for. The game is free and has lots of puzzles that come loaded with it. What more do you need in a sudoku app?
