An everyday app for me! This is one that will definitely keep its spot on my home screen. Yelp, Eventful, Zipcar and Gasbuddy are all great. The other apps are cool but probably more of a one time check it out sort of thing. I like the fact that I can save items from any of the apps into a single place to go back to later. Pretty neat - but the app doesn't do that much The app is mostly just a google maps mash-up. As I check it out, it seems like I have to sign up for four or five different services just to take advantage of WHERE: Buddy Beacon, Zipcar, My Places, The Skymap, HeyWhatsThat, and Quibblo. And if I never feel like using Quibblo for instance, I don't see how I can turn it off in the list of services.Furthermore, the side-scrolling services icons are cute, but the text that shows above them when you scroll is usually truncated, and difficult to read.Lastly, how about some more services that don't require my signing up for yet more web 2.0 sites? Show me on my map where I can find my nearest McDonald's, or show me where there are traffic advisories, or bus stops.
